Privacy Policy

AIRUCA Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our") hereby establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of user's personal information for the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as "the Service").
Article 1 (Personal Information)
"Personal Information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Personal Information Protection Act, which means information about a living individual that can identify the specific individual by name, date of birth, address, phone number, contact information, or other description contained in such information, and data concerning appearance, fingerprint, voice print, and health insurance subscriber numbers that can identify a specific individual from a single piece of information (personal identification information).
Article 2 (Information We Collect)
We collect the following information for providing and safely operating the Service:
- Account information (UID, email address, etc.)
- Usage history (generation date/time, models used, parameters, quantity, success/failure status)
- Input text/prompts and generation results (image URLs, etc.)
- Moderation results (judgment categories, scores, filter status)
- Payment information (Stripe tokens, payment results, credited amounts) *Sensitive information such as card numbers is managed by Stripe
- Team settings (image generation permissions, member composition)
- Log information (IP addresses, device information, browser information, etc.)
Article 3 (Purpose of Use)
We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:
- Providing the Service (chat, image generation, etc.) and quality improvement
- Detecting inappropriate content, preventing abuse, rate limiting, and auditing
- Payment processing, credit allocation and consumption management
- Incident response, inquiry handling, and legal compliance
- Notifications about new features, updates, campaigns, and other services we provide
- Purposes incidental to the above
Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)
- We may change the purpose of use of personal information only when the changed purpose of use is reasonably considered to be related to the original purpose of use.
- If we change the purpose of use, we will notify users of the changed purpose by our prescribed method or announce it on this website.
Article 4-2 (Data Retention Period)
We retain collected information indefinitely for operation, fraud prevention, and audit purposes. If users wish to withdraw or delete their information, we will respond according to our prescribed procedures. However, information necessary for fulfilling legal obligations, dispute resolution, and technical auditing may be retained for a certain period at our discretion.
Article 5 (Third Party Provision)

We may transmit information to the following service providers as necessary for providing generation functions:
- AI model providers such as OpenAI (USA), Google (Gemini), Stability AI (UK), etc.
- Stripe (payment processing), Firebase/Google Cloud (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting/CDN)

These service providers act as our subcontractors and handle information within the scope of service provision purposes. We will not sell user information to third parties except as required by law.

Information may be transferred to and stored in the jurisdictions where service providers are located (including overseas). Users agree to this Policy when using the Service.

We may provide personal information to third parties based on legal requirements in the following cases:
- When necessary for the protection of life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
- When especially necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
- When necessary to cooperate with a national government organ, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national government organ or local government to execute affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual might impede the execution of such affairs
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

When we receive a request for disclosure of personal information from the individual, we will disclose it to the individual without delay. However, if disclosure falls under any of the following cases, we may not disclose all or part of it, and when we decide not to disclose it, we will notify the individual of this fact without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen per case will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.
- When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
- When there is a risk of significantly hindering the proper execution of our business
- When it would violate other laws and regulations

Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, we will not, in principle, disclose information other than personal information such as history information and characteristic information.
Article 7 (Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion)
Users may request disclosure, correction, or deletion of their information through our prescribed methods. However, there may be restrictions on deletion responses for information that must be retained for fraud prevention, auditing, or legal compliance purposes.
A fee of 1,000 yen per case will be charged for disclosure of personal information.
Article 8 (Moderation)
We implement automatic AI-based moderation to determine whether input and generated content complies with our policies and model provider policies. Based on judgment results, generation may be refused, stopped, or deleted. Moderation details (judgment categories, scores, etc.) are stored for operation and auditing purposes.
Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
- We may change the contents of this Policy without notifying users, except for matters otherwise provided for in this Policy and laws and regulations.
- Unless otherwise specified by us, the changed Privacy Policy shall take effect when posted on this website.
